Congratulations to the Barbados Tridents on wining the CPL final by eight runs! Defending 152 looked difficult but some tight bowling and fielding plus the help of Duckworth-Lewis won the day. After a third heavy shower play was abandoned at the Warner Stadium in Basseterre, St. Kitts with the Guyanese Warriors on 107-4 still needing 46 off 25 balls and eight runs down on the D/L system.
It’s not the best way to win but the rules are the same for everyone and you win some and lose some. This was the Tridents’ day and we’re not complaining!
