On Saturday, May 25th there will be two matches at Holders, The Kearns Trophy scheduled to start at 3.30pm followed by the Presidents Cup at 4.30pm. These will be the final "official" matches of the 2012/13 polo season.

The crew of the Benneteau 10M "Ninja", lead by Michael Worme, came first overall in the CSA 3 class. Racing in memory of Captain Shane Atwell the young crew won all five races with a boat that had spent the last five years landlocked. Easily spotted

Today is the final day of racing in the Mount Gay Barbados Regatta, with up to three races scheduled. In the J24 class "Fully Covered" just needs three decent results to hang on to first place overall. Meanwhile, the big boats in the CSA Simplified class have a real fight on their hands. The 28th Barbados Mount Gay Regatta officially got underway tonight at the Barbados Yacht Club. Skippers from Martinique, Trinidad and Tobago, BVI joined locals in preparation for what promises to be a terrific three days of sailing. Former UK National Rally Champion Paul Bird will face the largest field of World Rally Cars ever assembled in the Caribbean when he returns to the region to defend his title in Sol Rally Barbados 2013 (June 1/2).

 

 

FLYING FISH, a Rugby Barbados Sevens select team, recently competed in the Ashby 7’s tournament in Leicestershire, England.  FLYING FISH started with a tough loss to Loughborough 24-17, an excellent win over Jesters 26-14 and a 30-5 win over England Colleges.  They completed their day with an emphatic win over Thundercats
