The Barbados Turf Club wishes to advise that an inspection of the race track following the running of race seven (7) on the raceday of Saturday 10 December 2011, revealed significant damage in certain waterlogged areas. On the advice of the inspection team The Directors took a decision to abandon the raceday which had been scheduled to be held on Saturday 17 December, 2011 the Diamonds International/Mont Blanc Raceday, in order to facilitate repairs to certain troublesome areas on the turf track.
The next raceday is scheduled to be held on Monday 26 December, 2011 (Boxing Day) featuring Diamonds International/Mont Blanc Challenge Stakes & Trophy and the Victor Chandler Stakes & Trophy for which entries will now close on Wednesday 14 December, 2011 at 10AM.
